I figured that Ted was supposed to have DID in the first few minutes. I was sorely disappointed in the book, because a friend had recommended it. Really tired trope. I've listened on audible and don't find it suspenseful or compelling. A waste of money. I'm not going to bother finishing it. I agree with all your points, and could add more. I'm a mental health therapist by the way.
